is the owner and primary photographer, as well as the heart and soul behind the lens here at Starboard Light Cape Cod.
Kristin's love for photography developed early on, often finding herself the subject of her grandfather’s camera. A true Renaissance man, he instilled in her not just a passion for photography, but a talent for capturing the extraordinary in the everyday. From striking poses to mastering composition, Kristin learned to see the world through a lens of creativity and beauty.
Life took Kristin on a journey of raising three amazing children with her wonderful husband while pursuing a career in public service. Throughout these decades, photography became a beloved hobby rather than a daily pursuit. However, as her kids immersed themselves in their own passions—whether theater, music, or sports—or as family and friends shared their life experiences, Kristin’s camera was always nearby, capturing each unforgettable moment. That is until the unexpected twist of the pandemic gave Kristin the push she needed to turn her hobby into a full time practice. Thus, Starboard Light Cape Cod was born!
As a novice photographer, Kristin strives to find and capture the beauty that surrounds her. Whether she’s cheering on her kids (now young adults), sailing the picturesque waters that surround Cape Cod with her husband, or navigating the delightful chaos of life with her large and diverse group of family and friends, her lens is always zoomed in on the moments that matter most.
Kristin's ultimate goal to focus on the magic of everyday life and capture it in the for the decades to come.
